   Only use for quick touch ups

   Hello, this was a mother's day gift from my husband. Just got it today. As you can see in the 1st picture my hair that's down is straight with the brush, the top have is still my natural hair...I had to stop and put the brush back on the charger....I did exactly what the instructions say. Let charge for 2 hours, part your hair in even strands etc and I'm like 20 minutes through and it's dead. I had to plug it back in to charge...me personally I think I could get my hair done faster with my straightener that I have but this heat up brush is definitely good for just a quick touch up. Wouldn't recommend using it to straighten the whole head of hair unless it's short and a 10 minute done thing. My hair as you can see is long, curly and think so definitely not good for a whole head of hair. Will definitely travel with it. But won't use it again to straighten my entire head of hair with it. It takes me 45 minutes to straighten my hair with my regular hair straightener. This is taking me a lot longer. Also I do not have a problem with it charging or heating. Just the fact that it dies to quickly. Hope this helps anyone else looking to buy the product...the last 2 photos one I just woke up from the 2nd one I used the brush to touch up my hair and it worked amazing...I let the brush charge all night long...I'm gonna try and use it again on my full head with a good charge and see how it goes but looks like it's really just made for quick touch ups when your out and about.

   This device is impressive, but not perfect. The charge holds pretty long, unlike some reviews said (I'm guessing they didn't let the device fully charge first, getting it right out of the box before use), and the thing is definitely small enough to throw in your bag, for on the go. I have thin, curly-to wavy hair. Pretty easy to straighten with a flat iron, but I have to use high heat to really get those curls out. I work in Florida a lot and can never wear my hair straight down there because of the humidity, my hair is curled in 5 min.s So I bought this device to help me fight the elements when down there so I have more options for hair styles. This would be great in theory, but it takes quite awhile to heat up to its high heat setting. So my imaginary scenario of running into the bathroom to quickly smooth my hair in 5 min. while on the go, won't be happening really. It will take a full 5-10 min. to get to the high heat, hot enough to really get my flyaways smoothed back out. As long as you don't mind the 10 min. break in the bathroom, this could work. If you get you hair truly straightened out before you leave the house, this will be great to combat frizz as you go, because you can get a low heat setting use out of it, within 5 min. All in all, I'm going to keep it. Still a great device, but not perfect.
